The ground rules for the day, in plain words.

What Rise Into Her is

Rise Into Her is a one-day educational and experiential wellness retreat for women navigating perimenopause, menopause, and other midlife changes, held in Long Beach, California on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 10 AM to 4 PM. It is run by Your Integrative Health, PC and guided by Megan Hormazdi, APRN, FNP-BC; Aline Inocencio, LMFT; and Bruna Chamelette, Integrative Holistic Coach and Chef, each leading the part of the day she knows best. On this page, “we” and “us” mean Your Integrative Health, PC and the guides, and “you” means a guest or someone thinking about reserving a seat.

By reserving a seat or attending the retreat, you agree to these terms. Participants must be 18 or older.

Reserving your seat

Seats are $295, total price with no mandatory fees, and limited to 12 women, first come, first served. Payment happens on Stripe's secure checkout page, not on this site. Your seat is confirmed once your payment is received.

Before the day, you will complete one short intake and consent form. It covers your contact and emergency details, a few health questions, and the retreat's consent terms, and your typed name and date are your signature. The signed form is the document that counts; this page is the plain-words version of it.

Your seat is personal to you. Because every guest must complete and sign the intake and consent form herself, a seat cannot be given, sold, or transferred to another person.

The retreat is held at a private residence in Long Beach. The exact address and arrival instructions are sent only to registered guests, and we ask you to keep the address private and not post it anywhere.

Education, not medical care

Everything shared at the retreat is general education and shared experience. Megan provides general hormone and wellness education; it is not an individual evaluation, diagnosis, prescription, or treatment plan, and it does not create a nurse practitioner-patient relationship. Aline facilitates group meditation, reflection, and emotional wellness activities; it is not individual psychotherapy or crisis care, and it does not create a therapist-client relationship. Bruna provides general wellness coaching, culinary education, and food preparation; it is not medical care, psychotherapy, or individualized medical nutrition therapy. Any existing professional relationship with a guide stays separate from the retreat.

Nothing shared is personal advice, and no particular health, emotional, or wellness outcome is promised or guaranteed. Please bring personal health questions to your own healthcare provider, and talk with them before changing any medication, supplement, diet, or treatment. Personalized care from any guide requires a separate appointment, agreement, and consent process.

Taking part at your own pace

The day may include hormone education and Q&A, guided reflection, gentle movement, a cacao beverage, group sharing, mindful eating, a chef-prepared lunch, and a sound bath. Every activity, and every food or drink, is optional. You may stop, rest, step out, or decline anything at any time.

Like any group day, the retreat carries everyday risks, including fatigue, soreness, dizziness, falls, strains, allergic reactions, interactions between medications and cacao or herbal products, stimulant effects from cacao, emotional discomfort, sound sensitivity, and exposure to ordinary illness. You know your body best. Take part only within your own limits, and tell a guide right away if you need help.

Your health on the day

Please answer the intake form's health questions honestly, and share only what is needed for safe participation: allergies or dietary restrictions, anything about movement, sound, meditation, or group sharing that could cause distress, medications or supplements that could interact with cacao or herbal products, and whether you are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive, or under medical advice to avoid cacao or herbal products.

The health details you share on the intake form are used only to keep the retreat safe. They are held by Megan for the purpose of the retreat and are not shared with anyone outside the three guides, as described on our Privacy page.

The retreat is not psychotherapy, clinical treatment, or crisis care. In an emergency, call 911. For immediate crisis support, call or text 988.

In a medical emergency during the retreat, you authorize licensed medical personnel and facilities to review relevant medical information and provide the care they deem necessary, including if you cannot give consent at the time. You are responsible for the costs of that care and any related transportation.

For everyone's safety, we may limit an activity or, when reasonably necessary, ask someone to leave. Withholding information material to immediate safety may lead to activity limits or removal without refund.

Food and allergies

Lunch and snacks are included. Food, cacao, and optional packaged herbal gifts may contain allergens or interact with medications or health conditions. Ingredients will be identified when available, but an allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed. Do not eat or use anything you are allergic or sensitive to. Gift-bag items are not prescribed or recommended as treatment.

Cacao contains natural stimulants (theobromine and a small amount of caffeine) and can interact with some medications and health conditions. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive, taking medication, or managing a health condition, please check with your own licensed clinician before consuming cacao or using herbal products.

The venue

The day is hosted at Aline's private residence in Long Beach, with no overnight lodging. The home has no pets, no stairs, and no pool or hot tub, and no outdoor activities are planned. Spending the day at a private home does not create a tenant, hotel, or therapist-client relationship with the host. We ask you to stay in the designated retreat areas, follow house and safety instructions, avoid private rooms, and not photograph private areas of the home without the host's permission. Tell us about any mobility, sensory, or accessibility needs before the day. You are responsible for damage caused by intentional, reckless, or negligent conduct, ordinary wear and tear excepted.

Photos and media

Your media choice is voluntary and never affects your ability to attend. On the intake form you pick one of four options: photos, video, and audio that may identify you, with your first name only; the same with your first and last name; identifiable photos, video, and audio but no name; or no identifiable photos, video, audio, or name use at all. We will not go beyond the choice you make. Media may be edited for format or length but will not knowingly be used in a false or misleading manner. Once material has been published or shared, complete removal may not be possible.

Please do not photograph, film, or record another participant without that person's permission.

The circle

Rise Into Her is a small circle built on trust. Please keep every participant's privacy: do not share another person's story. Group confidentiality is requested from everyone, though it cannot be guaranteed.

Our guides keep what you share during the retreat confidential, except where the law requires disclosure, such as a risk of serious harm to yourself or others.

Conduct

We ask everyone to be respectful toward staff, guests, and participants. Disruptive, abusive, threatening, unsafe, intoxicated, unlawful, or inappropriate behavior may lead to removal from the retreat without refund or transfer credit.

Getting there

Please arrange your own transportation to and from the retreat, and allow enough travel time. We are not responsible for transportation disruptions, losses, or expenses outside our reasonable control, or for costs caused by your own late arrival, delay, or cancellation.

If plans change

Events beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, wildfire, earthquake, a public-health emergency, government restrictions, venue or utility issues, transportation disruption, speaker cancellation, or supply interruption, may affect the retreat. We may reasonably modify presenters, the schedule, activities, the location, or timing, and the retreat may be postponed, rescheduled, relocated, interrupted, or canceled when reasonably necessary. We are not responsible for incidental expenses this causes you, though this never limits refund rights that California law requires. The Cancellations and refunds section below says what happens to your payment if the retreat is canceled or rescheduled.

Cancellations and refunds

All retreat payments are non-refundable. If you cancel on or before November 7, 2026 (7 days before the retreat), you may request a one-time transfer of the amount paid to one 60-minute visit with Megan, scheduled within 365 days after the retreat date, subject to availability and clinical appropriateness. The visit is a separate appointment. To cancel, email team@yourintegrativehealth.com and clearly state that you are canceling and requesting the transfer. The credit is non-cash, non-refundable, and can be used once, unless we approve otherwise in writing. If the visit costs more than your credit, you pay the difference; if it costs less, no refund or remaining credit is issued.

Cancellations from November 8 on, and no-shows, late arrivals, early departures, illness, scheduling conflicts, dissatisfaction, unused portions, and transportation problems, are not eligible for a refund or transfer, except as required by law.

If we cancel the retreat, the ticket price is fully refunded within 30 calendar days. If the retreat is postponed, rescheduled, or replaced, a full ticket-price refund is provided on timely request as required by California law.

What we are responsible for

We take care to plan a safe, welcoming day, and you attend and take part voluntarily, within your own limits. To the fullest extent California law allows, you release and hold harmless Your Integrative Health, PC, the guides, the retreat organizers and facilitators, the venue owner and staff, and their employees, contractors, volunteers, vendors, representatives, successors, assigns, and insurers from claims arising from your participation. This release covers ordinary negligence where the law permits; it does not cover gross negligence, reckless conduct, fraud, or anything the law does not allow to be waived.

This release includes claims you may not know about today. You give up the benefit of California Civil Code Section 1542, which says: “A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party.”

You are also responsible for claims arising from your own acts, negligence, misconduct, or violation of retreat rules.

Personal belongings

We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings, including valuables, electronics, medications, and cash.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page from time to time. The date at the top always shows the version in effect, and the version live when you reserved your seat is the one that applies to it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. If any part of them is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

Questions about any of this? Email team@yourintegrativehealth.com and we will get back to you.

Enjoy your Retreat,
